A&B built and expanded to a much larger facility. The ever-growing inventory was still outside but now stored on racks
A&B maintains and warehouses its own inventory of more than 30,000 valves in addition to managing 38 customer-owned valve inventories. To this day, A&B Stainless Valve is the only corporately approved remanufacturing facility worldwide for DuPont, Chemours, and Veolia.
Major move of A&B’s production and warehouse facilities to Nazareth, PA in order to support A&B’s extensive inventory and rapidly growing interest in valve remanufacturing programs and corporate inventory management available to all other customers.
A&B Stainless became DuPont’s first corporately approved remanufacturing facility. DuPont and A&B designed and implemented the Remanufactured Valve Program available to all sites worldwide.

From a small barn, A&B moved to their first building in Califon, NJ. The shop was small and the minimal inventory was kept outside.
Founded by Rick and Lin Berg, A&B Stainless Valve carved out a market for themselves by recognizing the industry’s need for superior quality remanufactured valves. At that time there was a widely held belief that rebuilt valves were poor quality and not as reliable as new valves.
